Strength and conditioning for the recreational footballer
Strength and conditioning for football I have been inspired to write this because of the amount of friends and associates I have who love football dearly and love playing it as much as they love following the teams they support. Also I grew up as a football fanatic and dreamed of becoming a player for Fulham FC and Jamaica. I never reached my full potential through not doing and strength and conditioning with the lack of the later and my physical appearance did not help matters (stocky kid). By the time I discovered strength and conditioning my love of football had dimmed slightly but I always thought of what I could have done with some of the knowledge I have gained since those days. Also I have lots of friends who play for Sunday teams and complain about having countless injuries, being subbed early for lack of fitness.
