How my Mum has lost 2 stones of body weight. Earlier in the year at University I had a module to complete on Fitness Instruction, one of our assignments was to complete a 6 week training program. I decided to ask my sister to complete the program with me as my Mum had been resistant to exercise in past whenever I suggested it as a good idea. After around 3 weeks of training my Mum had asked to come along, which I was more than happy with, Since this time my Mum has been to the gym at least 3 times a week consistently. Some background history on my Mum, she is now into her 60’s and does not have a sporting background, she had completed dance classes and some yoga in the past. She has also had 7 children. We did a foundation phase where we focused on cardiorespiratory capacity and conditioning, strength and flexibility.
